A crucial step for these girls to rise out of poverty is to graduate high school. Currently, the five young ones are in a bilingual school, five days a week in Puerto Cortes. Vanessa attend the private Technical University of Honduras (UTH) in San Pedro Sula. Sarai and Elvira attend the private Catholic University in San Pedro Sula. They are both studying Medicine and hope to be Pediatricians one day! Mariella is homeschooling at the EFP house and doing all her studies in English.

The girls also attend a local church and are encouraged to get involved as much as they desire.
